Marolyn was born in Denton, Texas on December 22, 1953, to Charles and Betty (Rosser) Gann. The family later moved to Pecos, Texas, where she graduated from Pecos High School in 1973. She was married to Ernest L. Teague, Jr. on July 14, 1973. They lived in the Houston area for 12 years where their three daughters were born. For the last 25 years they have lived at their current residence near Campbell, Texas.
Marolyn held several jobs in the Greenville area, but she considered her primary responsibility to be the raising of her children, and then helping them with their own children, guiding them ever closer to the Lord in their own spiritual walk. Her main hobby was doing family genealogical research.
Marolyn is survived by her husband, Ernest; her parents, Charles and Betty Gann; three sisters, Linda Burns, Patsy Keim (husband Doug), and Carolyn Boardman (husband Larry); three daughters, Jennifer Kiowski (husband Lucas), Ivy Pitts (husband Joel), and Teresa (TK) Armstrong (husband Damon). She had a total of 8 grandchildren: Samuel and Daniel Pitts; Grace, Savanna, and Ethan Kiowski; and Ava, Zoe, and Abi Armstrong.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to either Hope Center of Greenville, P.O. Box 5, Greenville, TX 75403, or to Greenville Christian School, 8420 Jack Finney Blvd., Greenville, TX 75402, in memory of Marolyn.
