Obituary

Marlene Marie Saage Teichman was born on October 5, 1937, in Noack, Texas, to parents Alton and Violet Saage. She joined her heavenly Father on Sunday, May 9, 2021. Beloved wife of Leo Teichman, she leaves behind her sister Anita Puntenney; children Sabrina and Donna Lewis; her grandchildren Kalinda and husband Doug Witty, Hannah, Emily, Evan, and Jeffrey Bereuter; Cliff and wife Melissa Bereuter, Brett and wife Lucy Bereuter, and her great grandchildren, Mason, Hudson, Lola, Ellyson, and Jett; stepchildren Allan and wife Carrolyn Teichman, Brian and wife Tina Teichman, Debi Dibble and Randy, and Mary Jane and husband Chris Coker; and many more step grand and great grandchildren. Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Violet, sister-in-law Dorothy Goff, brother Reuben Saage, son Cliff Lewis, and most recently, her and Leos fur baby, Christmas Joy ("CJ"). Marlene raised her family at Central Church of Christ and later converted to Catholicism. She attended Holy Family for many years, where she selflessly volunteered her heart and time for the entire parish. Generous, fun-loving, quick-witted, faithful, and passionate, Marlenes life was a blessing to her family and all who knew her. Many people have commented on the mutual admiration and adoration Marlene shared with her husband Leo, who continued to care for her with enormous love and compassion throughout her battle with Alzheimers dementia. We are all saddened by our loss, but so happy to know our loved one is at peace in Gods care.
