MARION PERRYMAN HARPER, age 80, a resident of Irving since 1974, died Saturday, October 5, 2013 at her home. Born February 22, 1933 in Liberty, Texas, she was the daughter of Richard M. Perryman, Jr. and Marguerite McFadden Perryman. On May 4, 1951, Marion married Richard Dean Harper in Galena Park, Texas. He preceded her in death on December 20, 1994. She was a bookkeeper and office manager at Tri City Tool and Die in Dallas for 30 years, and a member of the Presbyterian faith. Survivors include her sons, Richard M. Harper of Irving, Michael David Harper of Dallas, and James Wesley Harper of Irving; daughter, Lilly Ann Harper of Irving; and brother, Carl Thurman of Iowa. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery. Her body may be viewed 7:00 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 W. Airport Freeway, Irving, Texas.
