Marice "Cissy" Golden Kelly Age 90, died peacefully in the arms of her family in Irving, TX on Monday November 29, 2021. Cissy was born on April 11, 1931 in the small East Texas community of Cross Roads, TX. As the lifelong, hard worker she was, Cissy spent her childhood helping on her East Texas family farm, when she wasnt playing tricks on boyfriends by switching places with her twin sister, Babe. As a young adult, Cissys most memorable moments were spent with her kids. She enjoyed listening to country music, dancing, and spending time with her friends, including her best friend and twin Babe. Once her own kids were grown, Cissy enjoyed many wonderful years working for Syncore, Dillards, and as the concierge at the Marriot Las Colinas Hotel. She took pleasure in all of her jobs and was held in such esteem that she received numerous Employee of the Month and Employee of the Year Awards. Being the amazing, kind, and giving caretaker that she was, Cissy later chose to leave the corporate world to help care for her first born great grandson. She found immense joy in spending as much time with family as possible. Cissy took so much pride in those she loved and always let them know, never taking them for granted. Most that knew her would agree that Cissy will remain in our hearts as the most compassionate, loving, generous, and selfless person to have the absolute privilege of knowing. And those words still arent enough to describe and do justice to how important and amazing she was to each of us. Cissy is survived by her twin sister Clarice "Babe" Wright, brother Bobby Golden, daughters Vanessa (Art) Vermillion and Kathleen (Tom) Calvin, grandchildren Ashlie Gray, Jason Gray, Nathan (Jenny) Calvin, Adam (Caitlin) Calvin, great grandchildren Chase Gray, Liam Calvin, Kennedy Calvin, Olivia Calvin, and Nora Calvin, and much loved nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Cissy was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Lorene Golden, sisters Merle Towler and Ruby "Cooter" Cooper, and brothers T.J. Golden and Noble Golden. Services and reception/lunch, will be held on Saturday December 11, 2021 at 11:00am at Woodhaven Presbyterian Church, 3650 N. OConner Rd., Irving, TX 75062 In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Childrens Hospital. SERVICES
