Marianne (Ann) Tidmore Wood of Irving, TX passed into the hands of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday July 20, 2012 at her home. Ann was born in Albany, TX on February 3, 1932. Her family moved to Midland, TX in 1936. She graduated from Midland High School in 1948 and attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. She returned to Midland and married Kenneth A. Wood of Olney, TX on September 29, 1950. The family moved to Irving, TX in 1969. Ann worked for Texas Pacific Oil Co. for thirteen years and retired in 1979 as International Administrator. She was an avid China Painter and member of International Porcelain Artist(s) and Fort Worth Porcelain Art Club. She and her husband were among the founding members of Community Bible Church in Irving, TX. The fellowship and ministry of this small but impactful church played a vital role in their lives. There are no adequate words to describe their love and devotion to the members, past and present, of this Christian family. Ann was predeceased by her father and mother, Dave and Mari Lisabeth Tabb Tidmore, of Midland TX; three brothers: Max, David Lloyd, and Jim Tidmore; three sisters: Ruth Ray, Jane Houston, and Martha Patterson; and her loving husband of 51 years, Kenneth A. Wood. She is survived by her three children and their families; W. Keith Wood and Carol Ann Wood of Southlake, TX, Marilynn Wood of Granite Shoals, TX, and Lissa Kay Ward and Joseph Kirkland (Kirk) Ward of Spring, TX; eight grandchildren: Keithanne Davis, Jeffery Keith Wood, Christopher Landon Wood, Nathanael Jon Anthony, Kenneth Wesley Elliott, Randall Mark Elliott II, Linde Jo Landrum, Blake Austin Ward; seven great grandchildren: Brezlyn Groenig, Branson Davis, Brooklyn Davis, Stephen Wood, Ava Wood, Brynn Wood, and Ryker Landrum. In addition, her dearest and loving friend, Barbara Webster, whom the family long ago lovingly adopted, survives her. Visitation: Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 W.
