MARIA RUIZ-MATUTE, age 88, a resident of Irving, died Sunday, November 30, 2014 in a Fort Worth care center. Born March 15, 1926 in Ceiba, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Jesus Diaz and Angelina Pimentel Diaz. Maria was a member of Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church in Irving. She is survived by her son, Edwin Ruiz-Diaz of Fort Worth and daughter, Angie Ruiz-Diaz of Puerto Rico. A memorial mass to be held at Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church is pending.
