MARIA ELIDA ESCOBAR, age 54, a resident of Irving for 20 years, died December 8, 2010. Born on April 4, 1956 in El Salvador, to Santos and Francisca Montoya Escobar, she was a member of the Ministerio Casa de Dios Iglesia. A homemaker, Marie was an excellent cook and loved caring for her hen house and recycling. Survived by her partner, Juan Moreno, sons, Marcos Reyes of Irving and Josue Reyes of Mesquite; daughters, Vilma Reyes of El Salvador and Maria Reyes of Carrollton; six grandchildren, Steven, Jeremie, Emmanuel, Andrew, Julie, and Alyson. The family will receive friends at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home, 5:00 9:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home Chapel followed by burial at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
