Margie Nell Loggins, age 72, a resident of Irving, Texas for 50 years, died Wednesday, May 12, 2010 in Irving. She was born September 16, 1937 in Dennison, Texas. On May 10, 1956, Margie married Lawrence N. Loggins in Oak Cliff, Texas. She was a member of the Baptist church. Preceded in death by her father, Joseph Gibbs Jones, she is survived by her husband, Lawrence of Irving; daughter, Melanie Weddle and husband Kent; grandchildren, Brandon, William and Britnie Weddle, all of Princeton; mother, Margie Ann Davis of Irving; brother, Bill Jones and wife Sue of Paris, TX; and sister, Karen May of The Colony. Funeral Service 9:30 a.m., Monday, May 17, 2010 at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment 11:30 a.m. at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
