Margaret F. Massey, age 91, of Bedford, formerly a long-time resident of Irving, died Monday, June 18, 2018, at Elmcroft Senior Living Center in Bedford. Born October 8, 1927 in Dallas, she was the daughter of the late Andy Davis Walker and Mary Ruth Powell Walker. She married Roy Massey September 24, 1945 in Irving. He preceded her in death in 2008. She moved to Mineola after retiring from the insurance business and then moved to Bedford 3 years ago. She was a member of Euless First Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include daughters, Gayle Smith and husband Robert of San Diego, CA, and Ann Hughes of Tyler, TX; a son, Mark Massey and wife Kim of Bedford; a sister, Mary Sauer of Mineola, Texas; seven grandchildren, Karissa Nickell, Brock Smith, Andrea Wolfe, Michelle Smith, Melissa Franklin, Michael Massey, and Brandye Henkel; 17 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Friday at Euless First Church of the Nazarene, 801 Midway Drive W in Euless. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. there. Burial will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday at Rhodes Cemetery 1200 N. Cockrell Hill Road Desoto, TX under the direction of Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home of Irving. In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made in Margaret's name to the Euless First Church of the Nazarene. SERVICES
