On Monday, October 24, 2022, Margaret Ann Coe Thomasson Huckabee, passed away at age ninety-two in Irving, Texas. Born September 6, 1930 in Tupelo, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Walter Coe and Ruth Bliss Coe. She attended the University of Central Arkansas, where she met the first love of her life, John Thomasson. They married in August of 1953 and they lived in New York, Alabama, and settled in Texas. After losing her husband in 1976, Margaret worked at Irving Baylor Hospital for a time and then at Texas Commerce Bank, where she retired in 1990. She married the second love of her life, Charles Huckabee, in October 1990 and they traveled and enjoyed life together until he passed away in January of 2015. Margaret loved being with her family, playing bridge and was a wonderful cook. Her family remembers all the amazing meals and holidays spent at her house in Irving, where she resided for over 50 years. Preceded in death by her husbands, parents, two siblings, Robert B. Coe and Roberta Coe Biggers and a granddaughter Alyssa Ann Little, she is survived by her children Tim Thomasson and wife Debra of Coppell, Cindy Neinast and husband Will of Dallas; step-children, Paige Young and husband Tim of Fairview, TX and Jeff Huckabee of Austin; a sister Rosemary Hubbard of Conway, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. A graveside funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at East Memorial Gardens, 5200 E. Broad Street, Texarkana, AR 71854 under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home of Irving, 606 West Airport Freeway, 75062.
