Manu Mathew, a 29-year resident of Irving, died at his home on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. He was born in India on March 20, 1944 to P.M. Varghese and Sosamma Simon. Manu married Icy Joseph on November 17, 1986. He was a self-employed artist. He is survived by his wife Icy of Irving; son, Merrill Mathew of Houston and daughter, Angeleen Mathew of Irving; sisters, Susan Joseph of Houston and Mary Jacob of Michigan. Manu was a member of St. George Orthodox Church in Irving. Friends and family will gather for a Wake and Memorial Service on Friday, March 10 from 5:00 8:30 p.m. at St. George Orthodox Church, 1627 East Shady Grove Road, Irving, Texas 75060.
