Lynda Dodson, age 84, a long-time resident of Irving, passed away Friday, November 13, 2015 at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Irving. Born July 1, 1931 in Connersville, Indiana, she was the daughter of Edward Lee and Mary Virginia Diefenbaugh. She worked in accounting for over 50 years, was a previous Girl Scout Leader, a huge sports fan and was a member of Irving North Christian Church. Preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her children, Leesa Dodson Morrison of Irving, Heidi Combs of Irving, Dirk Dodson and wife Vicki of Fort Worth, and Greta Harrison and husband Henry of Sherwood, Arkansas; 9 grandchildren, Kale Dodson and wife Rhandi, Tyler Dodson and wife Danielle, Eliot Combs, Casey Combs, Trent Dodson and wife Stacy, Meri Caldwell and husband Nathan, Jason Harrison, Lee Jarnagin, and Ryan Jarnagin; 11 great grandchildren, Ethan, Savannah and Chloe Dodson, Avery Benton, Hensley and Stella Dodson, Emmersyn and Baylee Caldwell, Zoey and Rylea Dodson, and Asher Harrison; Brother, Richard Diefenbaugh and his wife Dell of Crandall. Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday November 21, 2015 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving.
