In Loving Memory of Maman Lydia Miesi Lusala Baruti
January 23, 1979 - October 5, 2023
Born on January 23rd, 1979, in Kinshasa, DRC, Daughter of the esteemed Reverand Leonard Baruti Kasongo and Alphonsine Bazenga Bula, Lydia was raised in the company of fervent faith. She was the cherished sister to Bob, Mwali, Carlos, Ruth, and Becky. With the legacy of spiritual stewardship inherited from her family, Lydia's life became a testament to God's grace and mercy.
In union with Pastor Plusmen Nlandu Lusala, Lydia became the First Lady of The Eagles of the End Time Message. Together, their union became a symbol of divine partnership, and their ministry touched countless souls.
Lydia's most cherished role was that of a mother to her beloved daughter, Divine. Her love for her was a testament to God's unconditional love for His children. Her presence extended far beyond her immediate family, serving as a council, confidant, mother, big sister, and koko to many here in Dallas. Her legacy of love, wisdom, and laughter will forever remain in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.
To the world, Maman Lydia was a beacon of hope. To her family, she was a pillar of strength and unconditional love. While her earthly journey has ended, her spiritual journey continues. We find solace in the scriptures, reminding us that "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" (2 Corinthians 5:8).
As we bid farewell, let's celebrate the life of Maman Lydia Miesi Lusala Baruti, a true servant of God, and draw inspiration from the legacy she leaves behind. Our faith assures us that we shall meet again, in the embrace of our Heavenly Father.
"In His presence is fullness of joy; At His right hand are pleasures forevermore." - Psalm 16:11
