Lucia Palacios, age 81, of Dallas, died Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Baylor, Scott, and White Medical Center in Irving. Born June 15, 1940 in San Vicente Guerrero Coahuila, Mexico, she was the daughter of the late Jesus Morales and Felicita Rodriguez Morales. She was a homemaker and the widow of Jose Cruz Palacios Roldan. Preceded in death by her husband, Jose Cruz Palacios, a daughter Begonia Palacios, and all of her siblings, Jose Angel Morales, Virginia Rodriguez, Eva Morales, Jesus Morales, and Felipa Morales, she is survived by eleven children, Juan Palacios of Dallas, Rosa Maria Palacios of Florida, Gloria Palacios of Grand Prairie, Jose Cruz Palacios of Mexico, Virginia Palacios of Dallas, Guadalupe Palacios of Mexico, Nora Lucia Palacios of Mexico, Luis Albert Palacios of Dallas, Linda Galvan of Dallas, Veronica Peralta of Apopka, Florida, and Vanessa Peralta of Dallas; fifty-one grandchildren; and ninety great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Colonial Funeral Home of Irving, 606 West Airport Freeway 75062.
