On Tuesday, July 30, 2019, Lorraine Johnson, loving sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away at the age of 78. Lorraine was born on October 10, 1940 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Delmar and Viola Boudreaux. Lorraine lived in Gretna, Louisiana till 2014, then moved to Irving, Texas to live with her family. Lorraine had two daughters, Justine Perdomo and Elizabeth Groves, and three grandchildren. Lorraine was a devout Catholic and spent many years singing and playing the guitar in the Choir at St. Josephs Catholic Parish in Gretna, Louisiana. Lorraine was loved by all and was considered by her family and friends as an extremely caring person. Lorraine was preceded in death by her siblings, Gail Barcelona, Betty Palmer, and Delmar Boudreaux Jr. Lorraine is survived by two sisters, Sandra Pruitt and Evelyn Bailey, two daughters, Justine Perdomo and Elizabeth Groves, her grandchildren, Sal Perdomo, Alex Perdomo, and Sarah Watson, and her best friend, Marilyn Bowman. The viewing and rosary will be held at 6:00 pm Friday, August 2, 2019 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
