LORRAINE BLANCHE MANN CARTMILL, a resident of McKinney, formerly of Irving for 26 years, died Saturday, August 17, 2019 in a Richardson hospital at the age of 85 years, 7 months, and 24 days. Born December 28, 1933 in Keene, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late Howard Ralph Mann and Clovis Blanche Twitchell Mann. She joined the Navy in 1952 to see the world and met another Navy seaman, John Hoover Cartmill, Jr. They were married on May 1, 1954 and were blessed with 5 beautiful children, Johnny, III (deceased), Teresa, Judy, Robert and Paul. They have 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Lorraine and John worked together in selling real estate together for 20 years. He died April 8, 2016. She was a member of Oak View Baptist Church in Irving.
