Lorena (Lorine) M. Six, age 97 of Irving Texas, passed away the 20th day of January 2024 at Parkwood Healthcare of Bedford. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM the 29th day of January at the First Christian Church of Irving, Reverend Deborah Jones will officiate. Following the service, burial will be at the Oak Grove Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Irving. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00PM, Sunday, Janaury 28th at the Colonial Funeral Home of Irving. Lorine was born on May 17, 1926 in Burnet Texas. She was the daughter of Hugh and Lora Lee Clark. She was a past member of South Delaware Church of Christ and current member of First Christian Church, both of Irving. She was a retired employee of the Irving Independent School District, having served as a library assistant at Barton Elementary and Irving High School. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, devoted wife and kindhearted friend to all who knew her. She was strong, resilient, independent and an avid explorer, having travelled much of the world. She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas L. Maxwell, second husband Austin J. Six, brothers Thomas Parker, Edward Clark and Jim Clark. Survivors include sister Gladys E. Rowan of Quincy Florida, sons Ronald Maxwell and wife Edna of Irving, Donald Maxwell and wife Nona of Yukon Oklahoma, Robert Maxwell and wife Debra of Euless, daughter Carolyn Penney and husband Steve of Highland Village, stepdaughter Linda Farthing and husband Larry, stepdaughter Judith Sampson and stepson Austin J. Six, Jr. and wife Gwynna, 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren, 20 step-great grandchildren and 15 step-great-great-grandchildren. There are no gallery images.
