LORENE MAMMEN, age 91, a resident of Irving, Texas for 74 years, died Tuesday, February 23, 2010 in Irving. She was born March 1, 1918 in Shirley, Texas to Brent and Leciar Cromer Brooks. Lorene and her husband founded Mammen Glass Company in Irving in 1956. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Irving. Preceded in death by her husband, Johnny H. Mammen in 1999, she is survived by her sons, Jim Mammen and wife Ann of Keller, John Mammen and wife Theresa of Haslet; and five grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel.
