Linda Evon Young, age 76, of Watauga, passed away May 12, 2021. She was born May 8, 1945 in Lubbock, TX to Pearl May (Murphy) and Derwood Young. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her younger sister, Darlene Young. She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Fleck and husband Ryan; twin brother, Daile Young and wife Rachel and brother, James Young and wife Carol; numerous nieces and nephews; and her precious grandson, Tatum. Linda worked in the banking industry for 35 years, doing everything from teller to bank manager. She was a graduate of Irving High School. A faithful and active member of North Park Baptist church in North Richland Hills. Linda was a devoted mother and was always looking to help others. A visitation will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 PM Sunday, May 23rd at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home, funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday, May 24th at North Park Baptist Church in North Richland Hills, followed by a committal service at Sparkman Hillcrest Memorial Park in Dallas. If disired memorials can be made in Linda's name to the Malachi Challenge (building fund) North Park Baptist Church. SERVICES
