Linda Strickland (Nanny) of Keene, Texas for eight years and previously of Grand Prairie, died on Monday, January 9, 2017 at the age of 70 in Burleson. Born November 13, 1946 in Dallas, Texas to the late James H. Knight and Ruth E. (Phenicie) Knight, Linda was an Apartment Leasing Manager. She is preceded in death by husband, Dickie Strickland; daughter Lori Ann Strickland; grandson, Cody Strickland; four siblings: Challen Knight, Carolyn Young, Halsey Knight, and Thomas Claude Knight. Linda is survived by her son James D. Strickland of Keene; daughter in law, Sherry Strickland of Keene; grandson, Aron Baugus of Keene; siblings: Cece Coon of Plano, Michael Knight and wife Carolyn of Irving, James P. Knight and wife Louanne, Kathryn Smith and husband Jerry of Dallas as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service is planned for Saturday, January 14th at 3:00 p.m. at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway, Irving, Texas. SERVICES
