LINDA JO ARNOLD, age 70, a resident of Irving for 49 years, died Sunday, January 26, 2014 at her home. Born June 15, 1943 in Big Spring, Texas, the daughter of Edward Elmo Phillips and Dorothy Belle Riggs Phillips, she was a retired bookkeeper and nanny. Linda married Norman R. Arnold May 1, 1964. She coached junior bowling and was a coordinator for that program in Irving for many years; participated in the Irving Police Departments Citizens on Patrol program; and attended the Heritage Senior Center. Survivors include her husband, Norman R. Arnold of Irving; daughter, Terri Lynn Chunn and husband Daniel of Keller; son, Kelly Dewayne Arnold and wife Lorraine of Argyle; sisters, Marilyn Woodall of Ira, Texas and Carol Drake of Big Spring; five grandchildren, Connor Arnold, Heather Arnold, Kristopher Chunn, Hailey Chunn, and Hannah Chunn. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 31, 2014 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving.
