LILLIAN R. CHEATHEAM, age 81, of Bedford, died March 23, 2012. Born September 30, 1930 in Electra, Texas, she was the daughter of William Morris and Mattie Lee Ruth Sutton. She married Claude Cheatheam December 20, 1950 in Wichita Falls. A homemaker, she lived in Bedford for the past 35 years moving from Irving. She was Baptist. Preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Clarence Sutton and sister, Lucille Pinson, survivors include her husband Claude of Bedford; daughters, Linda Marlow of Hurst, Shirley McDonald and Terrie Dixon both of Irving; grandchildren, Kelly Bryant and husband Sean of Hurst, Amy Marx of Oregon and Christopher McDonald of Irving; seven great grandchildren; and two sisters and their husbands, Rosa and George Crown of Bedford and Winnie and Percy Travis of Wichita Falls. Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Donnellys Colonial Chapel. Burial Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. 9:00 p.m. Monday. Memorials may be made to the Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas.
