It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lilian Aviles, age 84, of Irving, Texas. Lilian passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Irving.

She was born on July 29, 1940, in the Dominican Republic, the beloved daughter of Pedro and Trina Espinal Espaillat.

Lilian is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Felix Aviles; her loving children, Israel Aviles and wife Tina, and Ivette Torres and husband Ivan; her sister, Lourdes Espaillat; cherished grandchildren, Sam Aviles, Olivia Aviles, Ezequiel Aviles, Diego Aviles, Aria Johnson, Carlos Johnson, and Maya Johnson; and treasured great-grandchildren, Leo Aviles, Lili Aviles, and Catalina Aviles.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Laurel Land Cemetery in Dallas. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, July 2nd, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home of Irving, located at 606 W. Airport Freeway, Irving, TX.

Lilian will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and enduring love for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and grace that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
