LESLIE C. MASON, 61, a long-time resident of Grand Prairie, died Sunday, January 24, 2016 at an Arlington hospital. Born May 30, 1954 in St. Augustine, Florida, she is the daughter of Jimmy Theodore and the late Tini Brock Theodore. A graduate of MacArthur High School in Irving, she was a boarding agent with American Airlines for 17 years. Survivors include her husband Michael Mason of Grand Prairie; a son, Ian Mason and wife Donya of Grapevine; grandchildren Julian Pillans and Alexis Mason who called her "Yia Yia"; her father Jimmy Theodore of St Augustine, Florida; a brother Marc Theodore and wife Ann of Colorado; maternal grandparents, Cora Brock and Clifford Brock; uncles and aunts, Ralph Brock of Jacksonville, FL, James Brock and wife Peggy of St. Augustine, FL, and Lorraine Lynn and husband Leonard; a niece, Katherine Theodore; nephew, Cooper Theodore; and several cousins including Robyn Brock, Bonnie Brock, Karen Cannon, husband Jimmy Lee Cannon, of St Augustine FL, Ralph Brock of Jacksonville FL, Clifford Brock of Yulee FL, Charon Aaron of Greenville FL Linda Griffey and husband Ken, Jennifer Cushion and husband Bill of St Augustine FL. She was preceded in death by her mother, Tini Brock Theodore and by a cousin, Suzi Reed. A memorial service will be at Noon on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Ben Dishman will officiate.
