Leona "Lee" Shepherd, age 82, a resident of Irving, Texas for 56 years, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010 in Carrollton, Texas. She was born August 12, 1927 in Easton, Pennsylvania to Arthur and Mary Kindt. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Charles Shepherd; daughter, Gayle Baty and husband Tom; son, Dan Shepherd; two grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving. Memorial contributions may be made to Century Hospice.
