LEE A. RICHARDSON, JR., age 89, a resident of Irving since 1966, died Monday, August 11, 2014 at Van Healthcare Center in Van, Texas. Born February 8, 1925 in Pasadena, California, he was the son of Lee Allen Richardson, Sr. and Nellie Mae Hoffman Richardson. On July 23, 1946, he married Rubye Marie Journey in Oklahoma. She preceded him in death in 1999. A retired U.S. Navy veteran, Lee was an engineer at Vought for 20 years. Survivors include his daughter, Gay Cormier; and son, Gary Lee Richardson, both of Irving; four grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 12 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Interment service is 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 13 in Pavilion A at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway in Dallas.
