LaVerne Pannell, 91, a life-long resident of Irving, died Monday, July 13, 2020, at her home. Born January 28, 1929 in Dallas, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Willaim DeHaes and Adrienne Jeannette DeHaes. She attended Abilene Christian University and was a homemaker and seamstress. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Preceded in death by her husband, Redus Carl Pannell, Jr. and daughter Diana Searcy, she is survived by a son James Boyd Kinnamon, Jr. and wife Madeline of Texarkana; a daughter, Nancy Wilson and husband David of Abilene, Texas; three grandsons, James B. Kinnamon, III of Irving, Ryan Searcy of Irving, and Jacob Kennamon of Texarkana; and three great grandchildren, Chloe, Kayla, and Seth Kinnamon. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, private family services will be held. Burial will be at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
