LARRY JORDAN, age 62, a lifelong resident of Irving, went on to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Baylor Medical Center in Irving. Born April 24, 1950 in Dallas, Texas, he was the son of James J.E. Jordan, Sr. and Bonnie Brown Jordan. Preceded in death by his father, he is survived by his wife of 41 years, Dorenda Jordan of Irving; daughters, Penny Jordan, and Jeanie Rivers and husband Joseph, all of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Julie Rivers, and Erika Watkins and husband Robert; great grandchildren, Rylee and Kaylee; mother, Bonnie Jordan; and brother, James E. Jordan, Jr. and wife Carol, all of Savannah, Texas. Service is 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park in Dallas. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12 noon. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
