Larry Alan Cook, 77, born November 25, 1945 passed into the Lords presence on Thursday, June 29, 2023. Larry was a devoted husband and loving father. Survived by wife Camille, sister Karen, brother David and wife Judy, sister Sandy and husband Steve, his daughter Kimberly and husband Stacey, daughter Piper and husband Paul, stepdaughter Jen and husband Jeff, 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by mother Opal, stepfather Charles and brother Darrell. Larrys family was one of the founding members of Plymouth Park Baptist Church. He was an avid athlete including basketball, pole vaulting, field/track and swimming and graduated from Irving High School in 1964. Larry had a true servants heart to friends, family and even strangers. He also served our country in the United States Navy from 1965-1969 stationed in Adak, Alaska, Moffett Air Field in Mountainview, CA, Vietnam on the USS Constellation and the Naval Base in Coronado, CA. After his service in the Navy, Larry was a golf pro at Athens Country Club then went on to a 30 year career at Bowie Sims Prange.
