LANNY R. GREER, age 67, a former resident of Irving, died Saturday, January 17, 2015 at home in Colleyville, Texas. Lanny was born March 7, 1947 in Dallas, Texas to Woodrow Wilson Greer and Frances Loraine Springfield Greer. Lanny worked for Deluxe Check Printers for 20 years. He attended Irving High School, and he was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Terry Greer, survivors include his sister, Dolores Kraft of Colleyville; nephews, David Kraft and Stephen Kraft; nieces, Linda Taylor, Karen Wesley, and Andrea Edwards. Visitation will be 6:00 8:00 pm, Monday, January 19, 2015 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 East Irving Blvd. in Irving.
