Kimberly Zoe Allen, 61, a resident of Grand Prairie for 41 years, died Monday, November 29, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. Born August 11, 1960 in Amarillo, Texas, she was the daughter of the late James Arlan Godwin and Barbara Kay Eastham Godwin. She married Thomas Wayne Allen September 13, 1980 in Irving. She was a computer graphic artist and had worked for CFC Print Solutions in Grand Prairie. Survivors include her husband Wayne Allen of Grand Prairie; a daughter Ashley Fletcher and husband Jim of Arlington; a son, Jason Allen of Grand Prairie; two sisters, Zenda Buchanan and husband Roger of Grand Prairie and Gala Hartwick and husband David of Arkansas; a brother-in-law, Robert Allen and wife Michall of Ennis; three grandchildren, Colton Williams, Brenden Fletcher and Harper Fletcher; nieces and nephews, Laura, Justin, Michael, Casey, Lee, Sarah, and Delila. The family will receive friends 6:00 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Colonial Funeral Home of Irving, 606 West Airport Freeway 75062. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
