Kennith Craig
Hartsell
Mar 7, 1965 — Jul 24, 2025
Kennith Craig Hartsell, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on July 24, 2025.
He was born on March 7, 1965, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Ken and Gail Hartsell. Craig grew up in Carrollton, Texas and spent summers in Arkansas, visiting with grandparents, aunts, uncles and playing with his cousins.
As a child, Craig was often found taking things apart but also trying to figure out how they worked and how to put them back together. He graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, going on to work as a Quality Assurance Engineer for his entire career at Raytheon.
Craig met the love of his life, Kim, in 1983, and they married on February 24, 1990. They resided in Carrollton and Frisco, Texas, with their four children. He was known for his humor, his generosity, and his dedication to his family, particularly his devotion to his mom. He will always be remembered for the love he had for his wife, his children, his grand-daughters, his faith, serving at his church, exercising, watching sports, making spreadsheets, playing Golf Clash, and listening to The Ticket.
Craig was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, and is survived by his wife, Kim Hartsell; his children, Curtis Hartsell and his wife, Sarah; Alexa Hartsell and her husband, Julio; Sidney Labby and her husband Zachary; and Jack Hartsell; his nephew, Britt Hidalgo, and his wife Lindsey; his grand-daughters, Layla Vazquez Hartsell, Amalia Hartsell, and Mallory Labby; his mom, Gail Hartsell; his mother-in-law, Kay Hidalgo; and numerous other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his dad, Kennith Martin Hartsell; his father-in-law, Burt Hidalgo; and his best friend, Dan Ferguson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Fellowship (hopefellowship.net/give).
