KEN COLE, age 66, a resident of Grapevine, died Monday, July 27, 2015 at Kindred Hospital in Grapevine. Born September 27, 1948 in Dallas, Texas, he was the son of Loyd Melvin Cole and Virgle Fayrene Kirk Cole. Ken was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam. He had been employed at DSC Logistics. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Emma Cole on October 14, 2014; and grandson, Kyle Young, he is survived by his stepdaughters, Teresa Young and husband Brian of Irving and Maria Chaffin of Trophy Club; five grandchildren, Mychael Koegl, Kelly Young, Kevin Young, Emily Young and Carey Young; two great grandchildren, Beckham Young and Lily Young; brothers, Jimmy Loyd Cole, Tommy Ray Cole and Michael Cole; and nephews, Vance Cole, Tommy Zane Cole and Stephen Cole. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 30 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving.
