Kemberlynn (Kem) Bales Plumlee, age 59, went home to Jesus on November 27, 2022. Kem was born on April 12, 1963, in Phoenix, AZ, the daughter of Nancy French and the late Kemper Bales. Kem grew up in Caro, MI, but lived in Irving, TX, most of her adult life, where she called home. Kem's friends and coworkers describe her as selflessly generous and caring. Kem was strong in her faith, loved her sons and pets, and felt most comfortable at home. However, she also enjoyed spending time with friends and loved ones when the opportunity arose. Kem is survived by her two sons, Andrew Morales and Thomas Plumlee of Irving, TX; brothers Mark Bales (Wendy) & Jamison LeBlanc (Lynn) of Caro, MI; mother Nancy Hughes of Caro, MI, aunt Judith Salay (Robert) of Austin, TX, a large extended family, and several nieces and nephews. In accordance with Kem's wishes, cremation is planned, along with a small memorial service 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 17, 2022 in the Chapel of Colonial Funeral Home of Irving, 606 West Airport Freeway, Irving, Texas 75062.
