KAY GAMMON JONES, age 73, a resident of Lewisville for 5 years, formerly a lifelong Irving resident, died Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at a Carrollton care center. Born November 21, 1941 in Dallas, Texas, she was the daughter of Cecil Roy Gammon and Helen Fay Shipley Gammon. Kay enjoyed playing dominos and bingo. She was a member of Faith Temple Baptist Church on Sowers Road in Irving. Preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Michael Gammon, she is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Ingram and husband Frank of Lewisville, Kathy Ringland and husband David of Victoria, Barbara Gammon of Kyle, Tammy Codding and husband James of Waco; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother, Bruce Gammon and wife Janet of Mansfield; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at noon, Saturday, September 12 with the funeral service to be held at 1:00 p.m., at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving with Pastor Larry Chalker officiating. Burial will follow at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.
