MARILYN "KAY" HOLMAN, age 66, a resident of Grand Prairie, Texas, died Sunday, May 3, 2014 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. Born March 3, 1949 in Wichita Falls, Texas, she was the daughter of Bill and Gertrude Teakell Durham. She grew up in Byers, Texas, but lived most of her adult life in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. She was one of four children that included Daryl Durham, Kenneth Durham, and Paula Durham. Preceded in death by her parents, twin brother, Kenneth and brother, Daryl, Kay is survived by her husband, Gary Holman of Grand Prairie; her two daughters, Leah Languirand and husband Steve of Houston and Lori Holman of Arlington. Kay was a loving mother and wife who overflowed with love and laughter and made the world a brighter place. She will be deeply missed, but we know her spirit lives on within every life she touched. A Memorial Service for Kay will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, May 8, 2015 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway (Hwy 183) in Irving with Pastor Ronnie Wiggins officiating. Her family welcomes all Kay's friends and family to attend the memorial to celebrate her amazing life.
