KATHY N. CAMPBELL, age 50, a resident of Irving since 2005 formerly of Mesquite, Texas, died Saturday, October 22, 2011 at home. Born January 19, 1961 in Memphis, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Duncan Campbell and Grace Covington Campbell. Very reliable and always available to help, Kathy was a friendly, outgoing hostess at Red Lobster in Irving for many years. A member and dedicated childrens Sunday School teacher at Lakewood Baptist Church in Irving, she was a strong advocate for the childrens ministry. Her love for children extended past the church into Africa, Latin America and Asia, giving to missions worldwide. Kathy was very generous, never expecting anything in return. She is survived by her husband, Myke Hubisz of Irving; brother, Greg Campbell and wife Dawn of Royse City; sister, Elizabeth Campbell of McKinney; several nieces and nephews; and the Church family at Lakewood Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 29 at Lakewood Baptist Church, 1705 Esters Road, Irving, Texas with Todd Dunn officiating.
