Karen Sue
Smith Combs

Wow… okay let's talk about someone who lived her life to the fullest.
Karen, known to most as KC, has always been the life of every party
everywhere she goes- like, if we were abducted by aliens- the ALIENS
would think she was our leader… she is just THAT COOL.
My mom grew up in a musical family- met my dad when she was super
young and was the only girl in his band. She was in a biker club; rode
all the way to Sturgis on the back of a bike amongst so much more. Once
she caught- kissed- and released a swordfish on an ocean charter boat.
She could beat anyone at pool, she loved to dance, and she had a huge
heart and an even bigger zest for life.
She was an aviation inspector and went to help start up a company in
Guatemala where she got to live and experience things that so many of us
never will. She was fearless.. beautiful.. and absolutely graceful all the way
to the end of her life… she was a fan favorite by every single one of her
caretakers… she was just so amazing and optimistic.. she never gave up hope…
She went on t0 meet the MANY that went before her. Her baby, Kimberly. The
love of her life, my dad… The other love of her life, my daughter, Kyli…her mom
who we lovingly call Granny Grunt… also, her favorite great-grandma "little Granny"
- she's with the masses now- she leaves her kids, grandkids, a brother,
and sisters behind… as well as her father.. who will be 95 in July- he's still dancing..…
Everyone would call her a butterfly- because she was a little social butterfly-
but she really loved dragonflies… so look out for some 😊
