Karen Sego, 65, a life-long resident of Irving, died Saturday, September 25, 2021 at an Irving hospital. Born July 24, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Olish Rufus Scott and Eula Wade Scott. She graduated from Irving High School and had worked for Nissan in Irving for 25 years. In her later years she was a certified security guard. Survivors include her children, Christine Jones Alfred and husband Yale of Arlington, Stacey Jones and husband Larry of Haslet, Justine Sego and spouse Kati Corzo of Dallas, and Jason Dunegan of Irving; five grandchildren Damon, Zuri, Juliana, Christopher, and Leia; a great grandson, Prince; a brother James Scott and wife Robin of Cedar Hill; and two sisters, Mary Wasserman of Plano and Susan Reis of Irving. A memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 2, 2021 in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. SERVICES
