Karen Lynn Shepheard Moreno, age 62, died on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at her home in Burleson after many years of suffering from various ailments and health problems. Karen loved life and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved to travel, especially taking cruises to all the islands in the Caribbean. Her favorite pastime was doing crafts and shopping. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, on September 25, 1958 to Ross Henry Shepheard and Marilyn Ellen Gates Shepheard. Karen is preceded in death by her husband Bobby Moreno. She is survived by a brother, Mark Shepheard and his wife Cathy of Flint, TX. She also leaves behind a nephew and his wife, Thomas and Allison Shepheard, along with their two sons, Garrett and Henry. A niece and her husband, Kaitlynn and Austin Helton, along with their two daughters, Kinleigh and Brooklynn. She also leaves an uncle, two aunts and numerous friends. Karen chose to be cremated.
