Kara Renee Barry Anderson ended her hard fought battle with cancer in the early morning of Saturday, May 2, 2015. She will be remembered by a life filled with love and bringing joy to each and every person in her vibrant life. Some of the things she enjoyed most were raising her children, spending time and celebrating anything to do with family, playing slots at the casino which she was known for beating the odds, and being thrifty by finding those crazy bargains at the store.
Kara was born in Irving, Texas on November 8, 1978. She was the only girl of 5 children of Linda Hogan and James Barry. Her brothers Christopher, Eric, Adrian, and Shawn Barry will miss their sister dearly. Playing volleyball for multiple years through her educational years, Kara was an extremely athletic young lady. She later in life went back to school to get her associates degree. Her grandparents, George and Ginnette Ryon played a major role in her upbringing and values. She carried those values over into starting her wonderful family with her loving husband, Juan Anderson. She is survived by her three outstanding children, Dehvon, Alexander, Kayla, and stepdaughter, Leyiah Anderson. She will be loved and missed by all.
Services for Kara are 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 4 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving with Don Hatch, Evangelist, officiating.
