Julian Burr Carruth, age 92, went home to be with Jesus on June 12, 2021 in Irving, Texas. Julian Carruth was born in Pampa, Texas on October 9, 1928. The son of Otis and Lucille Ray Carruth. He graduated from Tulia High School in 1948. He graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in electrical engineering in 1959. Burr worked at Lockheed Martin Corporation as Product Engineer until he retired in 1987. He is survived by his wife Dolores Hutto Carruth of 62 years, and his sons; Roger and Graham Carruth. He was preceded by his parents and sister, Verona Collier. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Donnellys Colonial Home. A Graveside Memorial Service will be held in Tulia, Texas, 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 17, 2021 at the Rose Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Mildred Hulsey Scholarship at the West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas. SERVICES
