age 88, a resident of the Dallas, Texas area since 1940, died Monday, January 25, 2010 at her residence in Irving, Texas. She was born January 16, 1922 in Wheeler County, Texas. The daughter of George and Maud McCubbins Admire, she married Marshall Paige Wilson, Sr. on August 10, 1940 in Dallas. He preceded her in death on March 22, 1997. Also preceded in death by her brother, Virgil Admire and sister-in-law, Rosalee Admire, she is survived by her sons, Marshall Wilson and wife Bettye of Irving, and Milton Wilson of Albuquerque, New Mexico; grandchildren, Cindy Santoscoy and husband Roy of Irving, Clark Wilson of San Diego, California, Shafee Jones-Wilson of London, England and Brennan Jones-Wilson of Albuquerque, NM; great grandchildren, Shelby and Sean Santoscoy of Irving; sisters, Deborah Zink and husband William of Harvest, Alabama, Linda Goodner and husband Arnold of Wichita Falls; brother, George Admire and wife Lavina of Grand Prairie. Julia was a member of South MacArthur Church of Christ in Irving. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 28, 2010 at the funeral home chapel with Mr. Paul Magee officiating. Graveside service will be held at 9:30 a.m., Thursday at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Divine Mercy Hospice or Texas Scottish Rite Children 's Hospital.
