Funeral services for Julia Ann Love McCollum, 68, of Irving, will be 11:00 am, Monday, October 9th at the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway, Irving, with Rev. Dennis King officiating. Friends may visit Monday, October 9th from 9:30 till service time in the funeral home. Burial will be at the Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving. Julia was born December 31, 1954 in Grand Prairie, the daughter of Billy Ray Love and Rosanna Moore. She passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023 at the Medical City Hospital in Arlington, TX. Julia was a long-time resident of Irving and loved all things Irving: shopping at Kroger, Angelos spaghetti dinner, and shopping the sales ads for the cheapest Dr. Pepper 12 packs. She sold Avon for 20+ years and received numerous awards. She doted on her Grandkids and showed off photos of them whenever she was out and about. Julia was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, James Jeter. Left to cherish her memory, is her husband of 39 years, Gary McCollum; her children, Jamie (husband, Roger) Dennis, Jason McCollum and Jennifer (husband, Rafael) Esquivel; her brother, Richard Love; grandchildren, Alexis Dennis, Lily Dennis, Roger Dennis, II and Benjamin Esquivel.
