Obituary

Julia was born March 21st, 1997, in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. She was the child of John Aluku and Anne Ngonzele. Her brother and sister are Lionel Aluku and Johanna Aluku, respectively. Julias childhood was full of life and joy even with the pain of her sickness. Julia enjoyed people and traveling. She enjoyed spending time with her friends. She had a tradition of spending her New Years Eve only with her friends to exchange gifts and have fun. Julia went to the University of North Texas where she graduated with a bachelors degree in hospitality and management in 2022. Julia had multiple internships during her time at UNT and when she graduated, she had the opportunity to work full time under the OPT program. Julia was driven. She probably never missed a day of work unless she had to. Julia was a caring person, a great friend, an incredible child and also an amazing sister. She was great at uniting people. She would always make sure to stay in touch with most members of her family. She was great at planning and the most recent plan she made was for her graduation. She put together an amazing plan and successfully United her family, friends and classmates for her graduation. She got the family together like no one else could. Julia enjoys sports and was a gym fanatic. Before her passing she enjoyed growing plants, and she has left behind a great number of them. Even though we the living are left with sadness, we remember the memories and the great lessons Julia has taught us all. She was a uniter, a hard worker, a dedicated person, a friend, a sister, and a child. This is how we chose to remember her. Thank you for being here with us today.
