Professor Jules Norbert Tangelo Okito Mbaka, 75, of McKinney, Texas, died Tuesday, February 4th at Baylor, Scott & White Hospital in McKinney. Jules was born on December 28, 1944 to the late Shungu Dimandja and Dokolo Shinga in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Jules is preceded in death by his wife Helene Efulakana Tangelo in 2013. He is survived by his sons, Andre Tangelo, Patrick Tangelo and Blaise Tangelo and daughter, Jackie Tangelo and eleven grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, February 21, 2020 from 5:00 9:00 p.m. at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway, Irving, Texas 75062. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church, 2323 Cheyenne Road, Irving, Texas. Burial will follow at the Rolling Oaks Memorial Center in Coppell.
