JUDY KAY YORK, age 63, a resident of Carrollton, died Thursday, April 5, 2012 at home. Born April 7, 1948 in Temple, Texas to Rev. Gene York and Bennie Faulkner York, she was a member at First Baptist Church of Carrollton. Judy loved her church, Bible drills, reading and her nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Cheryl York; and nephew, Nathan Nichols, survivors include her brothers, Ron York and wife Gail of Carrollton, Gary York and wife Liz of Richmond, Virginia; nephews and nieces, Sam York and wife Priscilla of Carrollton, Matt York and wife Janet of McKinney, Brittany Henderson and husband Chance of Frisco, Luke Snead and Brooks Snead, both of Richmond, Virginia, Catherine Nichols; four great nieces and nephews, Isaiah, Peyton, MaKenzie, Luke and Tylers on the way. Judy is also survived by the Helen Smith family including her children Dina, Shelley and John. The memorial service is 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 13 at First Baptist Church of Carrollton, 2400 Josey Lane in Carrollton with Pastor Wade Longerier and Dr. Brent Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 9:00 a.m., Friday prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Carrollton, Bible Drill.
