JUANITA MAE NINA DAVIS, age 95, a resident of McKinney, Texas for 3 years, formerly of Irving, died May 14, 2013 at her home. Born December 22, 1917 in Direct, Texas, she was the daughter of Thomas Brackeen and Anna Griggs Brackeen. Nina was a member of the Church of Christ. Preceded in death by her husband, John Davis in 1976 and son, L. T. Manuel in 2005, she is survived by her grandchildren, Tommie Hejke and husband Ray of McKinney, Tina Copeland and husband Charlie of Whitewright and Warren Manuel of Wylie; great grandchildren, Amanda Copeland, and Keith Copeland, wife Kristen; and great-great granddaughter, Hadlee Copeland. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 17, 2013 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Service is 11:00 a.m., Friday in the funeral home chapel with Don Hatch officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
