JOYCE SHOTWELL, age 79, a lifelong resident of Irving, died Sunday, December 6, 2015 at a Dallas hospital. She was born April 7, 1936 in Amarillo, Texas to Alton and Mary Story West. Preceded in death by her husband Alford Shotwell, she is survived by her daughter, Colby Shotwell and husband Martin; grandsons, Michael Jason Shotwell, Sr., Chris Shotwell, Sr., Teddy Grimes and Christopher Cao; granddaughter, Jessica Shotwell; and 10 great grandchildren, all of Irving. Visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving.
