JOYCE GRIFFIN, age 52, a resident of Irving for three years, formerly of Minneapolis, Minnesota, died Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at her home. Born May 9, 1963 in Eudora, Arkansas, she was the daughter of John Edward Palmer and Mary Boone Gant Palmer. Survivors include her daughters, Shrieta Griffin and Ciera Griffin; grandchildren, Nasir Griffin Hunter, Kingston Terry and Aoki Savage; mother, Mary Boone; sisters and brothers, Shirley Gaston, Shalonda Boone, Rhonda Hickman, Dakisha Wesley, Randy Boone, Trey Boone, Annette Savage, Brenda Palmer, Janice Bogan, Patricia Carroll, Terry Jones, James Palmer; and maternal grandmother, Luceal Gant.
